LOCAL
We truly care for our communities and we believe we can show that by being the hands and feet of Jesus. Below are some of the ways that we serve our local communities.
Community Encompass
Home ownership helps create stability in neighborhoods, and when people are invested in a community, it tends to thrive. We partner with Community Encompass to rehab houses in Muskegon with the goal of creating stable communities. These houses are sold/rented to individuals at reduced rates with that in mind.

Donation of food and personal care items are always welcome. The Coopersville Campus collects food and personal care items for our local ministry partner, Coopersville Cares.

Food Truck
The Feeding America Mobile Food Truck happens periodically throughout the year on Friday evenings at our Spring Lake campus as well as our Coopersville campus. Doors open at 5pm for a free dinner followed by grocery distribution. The food that is provided is different every month and varies from fresh produce, baked goods, to dairy products and more. The food is available to anyone in the community who is in need. There is no pre-registration required.

Kids Hope
One child. One hour. One time a week. Kids Hope USA facilitates relationships between loving, caring adults who are matched with children that teachers have identified as being at-risk academically or socially. Our Spring Lake campus partners with Jeffers Elementary School. When kids feel loved and valued, they are better able to learn, grow and succeed. And what better way to make a difference than right here in our own community?

Hand2Hand
Many families in Ottawa County benefit from free or reduced lunch during the school day but struggle to put food on the table over the weekend. Hand2Hand is a food backpack program in West Michigan that offers healthy resources for children on the weekends and is a partnership with churches and local schools. We partner with Jeffers Elementary School in Spring Lake. We anticipate packing and delivering 50+ backpacks each week.

Most needed items: quart size ziploc bags, large cans of chicken, small jars of peanut butter, large cans of spaghetti sauce (no glass jars), pudding cups, fruit cups, individual oatmeal packets, granola bars, canned veggies, and mac & cheese.

Jail and Prison
We partner with local Jail and Prison Ministries to offer continued support for their programs. Forgotten Man Ministries is our local jail ministry partner. Prison Fellowship and Fresh Coast Alliance are our local prison ministry partners. All of these ministries are doing tremendous things that are not only bringing about life transformation among the incarcerated, but also raising up tomorrow's leaders inside and outside the prison walls. We work with these programs in various ways throughout the year.
